I wouldn't really want to compare myself with Rebecca from "Confessions of a shopaholic", but I'm not going to deny I get really excited when I find an item I like on sale. I spend quite a lot of time online looking for good deals when I want to buy something and I always compare prices and search for interesting promotions when I go on a trip. Of course, I already made a sale wishlist for summer as well.  I hope this planning behaviour doesn't sound too strange, but I'm guessing I'm not the only one who likes to do some research before purchasing? The good news is that I just discovered something that makes this quite a lot easier: Solden.be. This website gives a practical overview of several promotions on different webstores. Yes, you got it right... that means " sale shopping all year round". My favorite of the day is the 10% discount code for shoe shopping at Omoda. This webstore has a great selection of brands, including Ash, Tommy Hilfiger, Supertrash,... and good prices. (although the Zalando code and the Asos summer steals are quite tempting as well).And if I would be going on another short trip I'd definitely take a look at the Hotels.com promotions. 

Today I'm wearing... The Vogue shirt

I wasn't planning on wearing this Vogue shirt as part of an actual outfit because I felt the quality of the fabric was more suitable for pyjamas or so (which is understandable considering it came with the Vogue NL June issue for free). But last week it turned out to be the only shirt that was still lying around at my mom's place and that kinda matched my skirt, so I didn't have any other options. Oh well, I think for studying and a quick walk in town it was good enough.What do you think ? 

Presents

A few days ago my mom returned from her trip to Tenerife and these are two of the gifts she brought me : the Vogue UK with the Kate Moss cover that made white nailpolish this season's beauty musthave and a pretty Parfois statement necklace. Reading magazines (preferably in the sun) is the perfect study break, so this gift came in very handy. I also couldn't wait to wear this necklace, but somehow I misplaced it and I can't find it anywhere. Really hope it will turn up again soon.

My new floral dress...

I couldn't wait to show you my new floral dress.. Yesterday I tried it with black accesories: pointy flats, a short tuxedo jacket and oversized sunglasses, but you'll definitely see me wearing it with sandals and my neon clutch aswell. I'm very curious to hear what you think. 

June wishlist

From my May wishlist (here) I only ended up getting the Zara sandals. My favorite Michael Kors watch broke, so buying  a new watch is getting priority over another pair of sunglasses. But the sun hasn't really been shining yet, so I guess I still have some time.

This month I'd like to find a cool laptopcase for my new notebook, a pair of pretty shorts (as you can see I'm really into white and red at the moment), some colourful jewelry and a pair of comfy shoes for my trips and summerjob.

Today I'm wearing... my new denim jacket

When I bought this denim jacket a few weeks ago, I intended to wear it with a pretty white dress or maybe a lace skirt...So I decided to wait for some sunshine....But this weekend I got fed up with waiting and wore it anyway...So here it was part of my very casual studyin/shopping outfit. 

Stylish & Sporty ?!

Sometimes certain trends really surprise me... I honestly wouldn't have thought I'd see all my favorite bloggers and other fashionistas walking around in their chic designer clothes while wearing SNEAKERS. Marant ones with a hidden ability to make us a little taller or a classic white Converse, sure, but actual Nike ones... the kind you wear to go running... quite a shock. Although it might still take a little while before I adapt this trend myself( my feet would definitely be grateful though), I thought it would be cool to make a collage of a few stylish "ex-sportshoes". Because if you wanna do it, then you have to do it well. So go for metallics, neons, studs and prints...

Current beauty favorites...

Usually spring also means changing my beauty routine... I tend to wear less make-up during summer, but I do pick brighter colours for my lips and nails. And when the sun is shining  both sunscreen and bronzer are musts. The Summer holidays are starting in less than a month, but with all this rain it feels like Spring hasn't even begun. Mint mascara and neon nails don't really seem appropriate yet, so instead I'm showing you my current (fall?) favorites.

Yumi for Pull&Bear

My first thought after seeing the Pull & Bear lookbook (with Belgian model Yumi): " I want to go shopping, right now" ! At the end of June I'm going on a little citytrip to Valencia and these are exactly the kind of outfits I would love to wear. 

Friendship bracelets...

When I was little my friends and I used to make ( or sometimes buy ) these kind of bracelets ( well, the slightly less jeweled version) for each other as a sign of our friendship. Back then I never would have believed that years later these bracelets would be worn by stylish adults and even be a trend... But for the sake of nostalgia (or fashion?) I absolutely need a few of these colourful bling pieces to accesorize my spring looks (or atleast add a bit of spring feeling to this winter weather)

De zomermode van 2013 kan je eigenlijk moeilijk samenvatten in enkele trends. Op de catwalk zagen we monochrome looks en zwart/wit combinaties. Maar tegelijkertijd blijft ook colourblocking populair. Ook de grote aanwezigheid van prints viel op. Het merk Mexx bij Zalando heeft in zijn nieuwe collectie subtiel ingespeeld op de verschillende tendensen. De stukken zijn super draagbaar en makkelijk te combineren. Er is voor elk wat wils: pastelkleuren, bloemenprints, grafische patronen, dierenprints, ...Mijn aandacht werd vooral getrokken door de kleurrijke accesoires en stijlvolle chino broeken.
