MORE MORE MORE...fall trends

A few weeks ago I listed you the trends I considered most "noticeable" for fall 2011 in my post " fall for dummies ?" . But fashion wouldn't be very interesting if it would be  limited to one little lists of trends that last a whole season. So here an updated view of noticeable trends ( once again focusing on what I saw and like ) to add to the previous ones.

Eyes wide open

Photo : " Back to Black" from weheartit.com

I'm in desperate need of a good mascara. Looking fresh and awake, even if I'm not.
Black, Volume, Length...I want it all. Mission impossible ?
Any suggestions which one to buy ?

Versace for H&M

After Stella, Madonna, Matthew, Jimmy,Alber,... it's time for Donatella.
This year, H&M collaborates with Versace resulting in a very glamourous collection. I already planned a visit to the store with my friend & blogster L.
November 17th, will be an early morning for lots of fashionlovers.

Here a selection of the pieces I would consider getting ( If I can ofcourse) :

Happy sunday everyone !
Here on the Belgian coast, it's a perfect day for a walk in the park.

Red nailpolish never goes out of fashion and it looks even better if you match it to your lipstick.
Don't you agree?

Such a beauty

Its not very original blogging about this, after articles about it on Garance Dore's blog and " Because I'm addicted", but I really like this bag and I have a feeling we'll be seeing this item a lot the coming months.
So let me introduce you to " DEVERE, designed by Alexander Wang.

Why I like it so much ?
When I see a Proenza Schouler bag, I think " rock chic". When I see a Hermès I think " classy lady", but this bag suits all categories.

And for those who want something that really stands out... CLICK READ MORE , to see the metallic version.

"Hey, welcome to the pier"

I'm guessing all of you know Abercrombie & Fitch ? The brand that, thanks to their beautiful stores and attractive models, made beachwear chic and hoodies preppy.

The "little sister", Hollister, is opening its second store in less than 2 weeks.
If you can't wait to see the collection ( with some items that you can't find online), the place to be is WAASLAND shoppingcenter starting from October 27th.
For a preview : check out www.hollisterco.com

PS : I will definately get another outfit post ready by this weekend, just been too busy for photos this week.

As a blog addict,  I have come across lots of fall must-have lists already and saw fashionistas wearing the most popular fall pieces before it even started getting cold. Here a little summary of what seem to be THE fall trends based on my "research". Ofcourse, I picked out the things that I like myself, with examples from my favorite stores and brands.

Weekendfood

As a student I try to keep my "household costs "during the week quite low-budget  and I'm a terrible cook, so the food I eat during the week usually isn't that good. Luckily, I have a few friends who often invite me for delicous dinners and  there are lots of pizza & french fries places around the corner. Nevertheless, I always look forward to going home during the weekend for some healthy home-cooked meals and some nice desserts or dishes at some of my favorite cafes and restorants.

Hope you were able to enjoy a few nice meals this weekend aswell !

Blue sky

These photos were taken 2 two weeks ago, the weekend before university started again. My boyfriend and I went to the small town Newport  for a walk and a picknick. The port there really is one of my favorite places on the Belgian coast. Especially when it's sunny and warm like on  that sunday afternoon.

The castles of Sintra

Goodmorning !
Today I'm going to show you some photos of our most adventurous day in Portugal : a visit to Sintra, the town known for its old castles. We started with visiting the Mourish castle ( or what is left of it ). It was quite a climb, but the amazing view made it totally worth it. A little warning for people who are afraid of heights, do not take the bus from Sintra city center to the castles, the road is very steep, small and scary. Oh and make sure you are a bit more prepared than us :  forest+mountain+ flip flops = bad idea.

Yes, we managed to reach the tower

Lisboa in the mix

Goodafternoon everyone ! I still have photos from Lisboa, Sintra and Faro, but if I keep on making a post about every single place I liked I'll still be blogging about my summerholidays when its starts to snow, so I decided to continue my Portugal photodiary today with a general Lisboa post.

A little armparty on the beach

Knowing I would spend most of my monday in class, I couldn't resist going to the beach again yesterday. Next time will probably be with a big sweater and boots. So I used the occasion to take some photos with what L. from the famous blog " The Man Repeller" might call a mini version of an armparty. I've noticed the whole bracelet theme is very popular at the moment, but that might get a little less once we start wearing sleeves again.
Or am I the only one who doesn't really like bracelets on sleeves? ( apart from armcuffs maybe)

The brown one is a gift from my mom, really like it. Thank you !  She bought it at Massimo Dutti.
And the second one can be considered a gift to myself from H&M.

28°c

With this temperature in October in Belgium, you could definately say we are experiencing an Indian summer.
Such a nice term to express that the weather here is going crazy, but you won't hear me complain. I spend the whole afternoon on the beach yesterday .. something that didn't happen enough this summer.

My new winterjacket and boots might be a little less happy about all this sunshine, they have to wait in my closet another month or so, but winter will last long enough for them to get lots of attention. Nevertheless, I'm pretty excited to start showing you some fall outfits aswell. I hope you'll like them even better than my summer outfits, that you can review here and here. Thank you so much for all the nice comments, definately a motivation to keep posting and bugging my friends to take photos of me.

Here a photo of my favorite skirt at the moment :

Burgundy & Pleats are definately 2 trends for fall, but the fact that the skirt is so light and short makes it perfect for this Indian summer aswell.Although I should add this photo it from last week when it was only 20°c, because right now it is impossible to wear leather boots.
