The reason I'm posting about Chloé's resort is not so much because I love the collection (although I do love the two outfits on the fifth photo with the leather shorts, super elegant sandals and beautiful print dress) but because I really like the photos and the location. I somehow always associate designer fashion with the big city life or fancy summer holiday locations, never with fields or villages. But actually this kind of background makes the clothes stand out even more.

Today I'm wearing...pastel and florals again

These photos were taken last week, but because of my exams I didn't have time to post them yet...I got this floral top at H&M about two weeks ago, for only 9.99 € and it was such a good buy, although a lot of my friends have the same one. Anyway, now that my exams are finally over I should go outside and enjoy the sun ( here in Belgium good weather usually doesn't last long). 

Finding the right one ...

Knowing myself, I'll probably get another pair of sunnies at some point this season. A few days ago I already mentioned on Facebook that  I still have a weakness for the classic Ray-Ban Aviators, but at the same time a pair of black sunglasses really are a must-have and you can continue wearing them in winter. The thing is, there are so many shapes available, I simply can't choose. I know that in general square models looks better on me than round ones, but that almost makes it more attractive to try finding a pair that does fit my face.

Kartell, a company that produces plastic car accesories, was founded in 1949 in Milano by Giulo Castelli. In the 60's he started creating household goods and furniture aswell. Now Kartell is one of the most famous Italian furniture labels, and I'm a big fan.

Today I'm wearing...a statement necklace

Here two shots my boyfriend took ( with my iphone, sorry for the bad quality), last sunday, on the way to my favorite Thai restaurant in Bruges. He had never tried Thai food before and I love it myself, so I really wanted him to taste some of my favorite dishes.

Yes, I know I just did a "trendspotting" post related to shoes, but for those of you who like to be on top of every trend I just wanted to say that these Zara leopard sandals here seem to be selling very quickly. Luckily, several other brands have some cool pairs aswell. 

Today I'm wearing... a skinny and a blazer

Only one more week and my exams are finally over...Can't wait to dress up and go out and celebrate, but at the moment I can only share my casual outfits with you. The first outfit I wore to meet my friends for drinks, the second one for a quick studybreak with my boyfriend in the park. Which one is your favorite?

I'm so impressed by Max Azria's resort collection....took me ages to simply pick out these 6 looks, because I loved the whole collection. And now I really need to add a neon bag and a pair of colour block heels to my wishlist.

Trend spotting : espadrilles

 I love seeing how trends pop up in "Blogworld"... A few weeks ago Amy from Song of style wore a pair of denim and red Chanel espadrilles and now these comfy beach shoes suddenly seem to be an absolute must-have, yes, even when you live in the city and not on the coast. Here a little selection of espadrilles that caught my eye.  And because I've never really been a fan of the classic type, I added some espadrilles in lace, leather and with a wedge heel.

Today I'm wearing...a white lace dress

Even though it still isn't warm enough, I decided to wear all my summer clothes anyway, I'm done with waiting for the sun... My boyfriend's mom gave me this dress a few days ago, she brought it from a trip to Spain and I really wanted to try it on. Luckily, it's exactly the right size for me.

Inspired by : Stella McCartney resort 2013

By the time I'm able to recognize all the clothing and accesories in the magazines, the designers come up with a new collection already... resort 2013 ! In the world of fashion time seems to fly by in whole seasons rather than days. I haven't even worn my summer clothes yet. But let's look on the bright side : these collections can be a great guideline for what to look for during sale ( only 2 more weeks ! ) I'm not going to show you every resort collection ( fashiongonerogue.com and vogue.com are perfect for that), but I can't resist making a few quick collages of my favorite looks. Let's start with Stella... I love the variety in her collection : leopard prints vs. florals, long blazers vs. short jackets, flared pants vs. pencil skirts, fringes vs. knits. And a lot of "suits" : tops and pants in the same print and fabric, something I really love, but I haven't dared to wear yet.

One year " Trips & Treasures " : neon earrings give-away

I started this blog exactly one year ago... Now, 331 posts and 600 followers later, I still haven't regretted it for a day ! I do spend more time behind my computer than I'd like to and I discovered the danger of online shopping, but blogging keeps me up to date with the world of fashion and I met or follow so many people who have the same interests as me. I love making collages, reading all your nice comments, finding new blogs from all over the world, improving my social networking/photoshop skills,... although I still have a lot to learn when it comes to photography.  One of my plans for this summer is definitely to get some photography lessons from a few of my friends who are more talented. You can read my first post here. Thanks for reading " Trips & Treasures", feedback is always welcome!

Fluttuo for summer !

A few months ago I already blogged about Fluttuo, ( see here ), but I wanted to show you my favorite items of the new summer collection : Nuance. As you may have noticed, I'm a big fan of statement jewelry : neon bracelets and necklaces with big stones,...But certain outfits only require a minimum amount of accesories. These pieces are perfect to add that little extra touch to your outfit without overdoing it and the coolest part is that each of these are unique, handmade in Italy with Swarovski stones. It's nice to know you don't always have to spend hundreds of euros to have something exclusive.

Today I'm wearing...cateye sunglasses

Last time I wore this skirt ( and put the outfit on my blog, see here ) I got a lot of positive comments about it. ( Thanks for that by the way, everytime I open Blogger I'm excited to see wether I got any new comments. Do you have that aswell ? ) This outfit here is a bit more simple, but at the same time a bit more " fancy" aswell.   But I'll be honest with you, I actually wore my white Tommy wedges with this during the day and only changed to the black heels when I got home in the evening. I bought these oversized cateyes last summer in sales ( I think I only payed 9 euros) , but they were such a good buy,... definitely want to get another oversized pair this summer.

I'm probably not the only one who finds make-up less important in winter than in 

summer ( or the rainy spring we have here) ? A little tan can do a lot. But that 

doesn't mean we can't splurge on beauty products in summer...

that accesories are my favorite topic to blog about... When shopping, bags and 
jewelry are my biggest temptation. So you can probably  imagine how happy I was

Today I'm wearing...my new floral blazer

As soon as I saw this blazer on the Zara website I fell in love... and after talking about it for almost two weeks my dad decided it to buy it for me ( I'm guessing he was sick of hearing about it ). But tell me, am I really the only one who get's all excited about a pretty floral print ...don't think so. Can't wait to wear this with a white or pink dress and go for a walk along the beach...but first I have to finish my exams, pfff... 

Found : Chanel Nailpolish for Autumn

I was surfing around on some beautywebsites and I came across these Chanel Autumn 2012 polishes. I am always impressed with the Chanel winter colours ( remember Particulier & Peridot ? ), must be difficult to come up with original colours year after year.
