What I love about this collection is that you can't really link it to one kind of woman... There are dresses for those who dream of being royalties, for the party girls, for those who enjoy it more sober or abstract, for those who like it super floral and girly,...
But the looks that impressed me the most were the suits : how could you not feel both feminine and powerful when wearing one of those ?
Because of the diversity, I might think some of the looks are from different shows when I see them seperately. But the returning color combinations, fabrics, florals and beautiful pointy heels kept it all together in a subtle way. With a collection like this I wouldn't have expected short, rather masculine hairdo's or bright red lips, but somehow for me these uniform looks draw even more attention to the creations themselves.
I always find it difficult to describe collections, especially in english, with my limited fashion vocabulary..but I think I did make my point clear that for me Raf Simons made a strong collection and I hope I'll see a lot of these looks on the red carpet or in magazines.
I'm very curious to hear what you think. How did you like the decor ? And which dress would you love to wear yourself ?
