I wish I was wearing...

one of the looks of the Phillip Lim pre-fall 2013 collections. 

What I admire about the collection is the fact it so wearable ( I would dare to wear every single one of these looks on a regular day here in my little town) but at the same time so well designed. I'm not a big fan of designer clothing that looks great on models in magazines, but seems impossible to wear for the normal fashion-lover. Of course every collection can include a few of those pieces, the eyecatchers for the runway, but for me a collection doesn't have a  lot of value if hardly anyone will buy it.

What I will remember from this collection ( for fall, but also for sale-shopping now)

- buy loafers ! 

- buy leopard ! 

- find the perfect pair of leather leggings

- invest in a nice slightly oversized long coat (next fall)

- over the knee boots will be back

- get atleast one pair of shoes in bronze or silver

- leather always works

I'm very curious what you think of this collection. Which look is your favorite one ? 

And in how far do you think designer collections should be wearable ?
