Today the sales officially start here in Belgium, so it really is the perfect day to share my shopping/style resolutions with you. I thought I'd illustrate list with some recent photos of 3 of my style icons.
Miranda Kerr : effortlesly chic
DO : wear more noticeable accesories such as hats
DO : invest in a pair of classic black sunglasses ( broke my previous ones)
DO : find the perfect black blazer
DON't : wear too much black
(sunglasses: Miu Miu-Blazer: Zara)
Olivia Palermo
DON't : buy (cheap) jewelry I only wear once or twice
DO: find the perfect delicate everyday necklace
DO: look for a washed off jeans that looks classy
DO: find an elegant spring jacket ( and maybe a less girly biker jacket?)

Victoria Beckham
DO: wear more heels
DO: find a pair of classic heels that I can easily walk with
DON't: buy shirts in artificial fabrics that make me sweaty and get stained easily
DO: get a nice collection of basic shirts and blouses (good quality fabrics) in my closet
DO: wear more pants that aren't " skinny jeans"
(Blouse: Equipment, Heels: Prada)
So fashionwise 2013 should be the year where I find a better compromise between "colourful,trendy and girly" and " simplistic and classy". All advice is welcome.
It should also buy the year when I no longer buy a single thing I regret or that doesn't really work on me. Oh and I'd love for it to be the year where I get a designer handbag.

Fun post :D Hmm let's think, this year I'm going for more shoes (and shoes that I will actually wear!), more accessories in both silver and gold aaaand find a new leather jacket that I like as much as my last one :)

ReplyDeleteI'm going to try and buy some more silver jewelry, although that's going to be a tough one ;-). And more colorful patterns because I'm attached to black, don't know why :-).
