Although I watched the photos or videos of most ss13 fashionshows, I only noticed this trend when I was in my local H&M store a few weeks ago. They had a small holographic clutch (& ipadcase) and somehow I was suprised to see this "print" on supposedly stylish items, because I can't help thinking of aliens, toys or christmas decoration whenever I spot this special rainbow effect. Knowing that H&M usually gets its inspiration from the runways I googled it straight away and yes, this science fiction-ish effect was used both by Proenza Schouler and Stella Mc Cartney. I doubt that you'll be seeing me in holographic pants, but I wouldn't say no to that PS11 (or any PS bag for that matter).

ReplyDeleteMy sister got me a holographic nail polish for Christmas, and I'm in love with it! It's more gold-green though, so not all holographic things have to be cool-toned! I've been eyeing some pants from H&M as well *sigh

I have seen the holographic nail polish, and I must say, it's pretty cool. The other items are all pretty futuristic!
