I created this blog to share " the pretty things in life" with you, but sometimes there comes a point when other things need to be discussed. In the past I've always been neutral to positive about the Moschino collections, so I absolutely wanted to watch the fall-winter 2013 show. But wow, was I shocked. I don't like being disrespectful to those who worked hard on these looks, but honestly: the first words that came to mind were ridiculous and ugly ( and that coming from someone who does actually like tartan prints). The associations I automatically made: clowns, Swiss yodelers, indians and of course Scotland. I won't say these are neccesarily bad sources of inspiration for a collection, but the combination seems a bit to much. Even when imagining the pieces individually or worn with more neutral items, I couldn't see what is supposed to be attractive about them. So now I ask you, the experts, please explain? Am I the only one who does not understand the beauty of Moschino fw 13 ?
And for the sake of being nice, here a few looks I am able to appreciate.
Please share your opinions...
