I just spent a lovely long weekend with my boyfriend. During the exams I was really longing for a little get-away and after a little research Prague seemed the perfect destination: only one hour by plane from Brussels, very affordable and pretty.
Of course we wanted to do some sightseeing, but most of all we just wanted to relax: long walks admiring the beautiful buildings and cosy coffeebreaks to warm up...
Some of you may wonder why I didn't book a trip to the sun and although I really am looking forward to wearing my dresses again, I've never been the type to lie around the whole day. Another kind of destination I had to avoid was big shopping cities: unfortunately my boyfriend doesn't see the romance in shopping together.
We stayed at the Metropol hotel. For younger people I would definitely advice this hotel. It's quite simple, but very modern and clean and it has a good location: right in the centre, close to the bars and shopping streets. ( you can find some photos on my instagram)
